Mutta maala/ Egg garlands & Mutta surka

Ingredients



Eggs – 6 nos

Sugar – 1 cup

Water - 1 1/2 cup

Milk powder – 2tbspn

Cardamom powder - 1/2 tspn

Preparation

Separate egg yolks and whites. Beat the egg yolk and keep it aside. For preparing the sugar syrup, boil water in a wide pan. Add sugar and ¼ tspn cardamom powder.Take a disposable bottle and make small holes on its top. Pour egg yolks to bottle, and in boiling syrup rotate this mix in circular motion. Allow to boil for a few seconds. Then reduce the flame, sprinkle some water over it, and remove the cooked egg yolk from the sugar syrup carefully. Increase the flame and repeat the procedure until all the yolks are finished. Now mutta maala is ready. For making mutta surka take the remaining sugar syrupand add separeted egg white and then cardamom powder, and milk powder and beet well. Pour this into a plate or round dish and steam it for 20-30 mnts.Allow it to cool and cut it into desired shape and serve it along with mutta maala/egg garlands . Enjoy
